More celebrity foreclosures…

Legendary beatboxer, rapper, and hip-hop producer Doug E. Fresh is reportedly in serious financial trouble and at risk of losing three New York City properties to foreclosure.

The eighties icon, real name Douglas Davis, apparently has $3.5 million in outstanding, unpaid mortgages tied to three Harlem properties, according to the NY Post.

Per court documents, after he fell behind on payments, a foreclosure suit was filed in Manhattan in late August, alleging he owed more than $1.73 million.

To make matters worse, he also owes credit card issuer American Express roughly $60,000 and the IRS recently hit him with a $367,000 tax lien.

Fresh is slated to open a new Harlem restaurant called “Doug E’s Chicken and Waffle” next month despite his financial woes.

Former TLC Singer Facing Foreclosure?

In related news, former TLC singer T-Boz’s Atlanta, Georgia home is reportedly slated for the auction block, though she has since come forward to dispute the claims.

The five-bedroom, 10,000 square foot home is expected to go to auction in January after T-Boz, born Tionne Tenese Watkins, defaulted on roughly $530,000 in payments.

However, according to T-Boz, the home involved in the foreclosure is her ex-husband Mack 10’s residence.
